About the Speaker: Jim Newcomer serves as senior pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Ypsilanti, MI. He and his wife Lorie both grew up in Michigan. They were married in 1989 and now have 3 adult children. He has served in pastoral ministry since 1994 and has been actively teaching pastoral theology and biblical counseling on both the undergraduate and graduate levels in several institutions since 2000. Jim regularly speaks on marriage and teaches marriage counseling courses.
