The  AWANA Grand Prix is a pinewood derby style racing event with a proven track record of fun and excitement. The Grand Prix helps to build a bond between kids and parents and they work together to design a great car! The event is also about winning parents, grandparents, and kids to Christ, as the gospel message will be presented. Even if you won't be entering a car, you are will encouraged to come out and watch this exciting event! Admission is FREE.

Cars for the Grand Prix are on sale Sunday mornings in the Harvest lobby, as well as during Sunday evening AWANA. $5 covers a pinewood car kit and entrance fee. (Registration fee is waived if using a car purchased for the cancelled 2020 race.) There are 4 race classes: Cubbies, Sparks, T&T, and open (6th grade through adults). Trophies will be awarded for speed and design.  

A "Pit Party" will be held on March 13 from 10am until noon, to work on your car or test cars on the track.
