The book of Psalms contains beautiful truth to strengthen our faith. The Psalms poetically acknowledge our experiences of joy and victory, as well as sorrow and fear. Each Psalm points to the character of our God, whose grace is sufficient for every moment of life.

Hope of the Ages

For centuries, God's people had longed for the coming Messiah. Groaning under the weight of sin and oppression, they heard of one who would be a perfect Prophet, a perfect Priest, a perfect King. One who would fulfill God's desire to dwell with His people. One who would fulfill Isaiah's promise of a great light. One who would fulfill Micah's promise of a strong shepherd. One who would fulfill Jeremiah's promise of a righteous ruler.

"When the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman..." (Gal. 4:4)
