Bob Bashawaty

Director of Small Groups
Bob is a founding elder of Harvest Bible Church. In 1981, Bob responded to the call of God and received Jesus Christ into his heart as Savior and Lord. He soon found a love for the Word of God and began to study it. He then started teaching a small group Bible Study and has continued to do so for over 25 years. Bob and his wife, Doris, are servants of the Lord and enjoy using their gifts and talents to serve the church. Bob also loves volleyball, gardening, riding his motorcycle, and watching a good mystery movie.
Mark Beggs
ELDER Chairman
Mark and his wife, Patty, have attended HBC since 2006, serving in the Children's and Music ministries. They enjoy the outdoors, such as light hiking in northern Michigan (especially the UP). As an engineer and project manager, Mark enjoys using his organizational skills to serve the church. They have raised 3 daughters in Canton, and love spending time with their grandson.

Kenneth graduated from Moody Bible Institute with a degree in International Ministries. He first attended Harvest in 2012 and accepted his current role on staff in 2021. Prior to Harvest, he worked for many years, both in Hospitality Management and Real Estate. Kenneth considers himself a Chicago boy, although he has lived all over from a small farming village to several big cities. Detroit is a city he has come to love, but Kenneth still has a passion for traveling and sharing Christ around the world.

Randy earned a M.Div. with a focus in Biblical Counseling from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been attending Harvest since 2015, currently overseeing our College/ 20’s ministry and video/podcast ministry. He has an unwavering love for God and His Church. In addition to the opportunities he has for ministry, Randy also enjoys cooking for family and friends.
Pat MacLean
Elder
Pat and his wife, Buffy, have been members of Harvest since 2013. Pat became an elder in August 2022, which he considers a great honor and responsibility to serve the Lord and His people. Before retiring in 2021, he worked in the legal field for 42 years - as a litigation attorney for about half of his career and as a Workers' Compensation Magistrate & Social Security Administrative Law Judge for the other half. His passion is reading, studying, and sharing the Word, as well as having rich fellowship with the saints at Harvest. Additionally, he enjoys spending time with his family, including his 8 grandchildren.
Mike Moses

Mike has a great desire to communicate the glory of Jesus Christ to all who will listen! He enjoys deep conversations, reading, soccer, music, and all things Tolkien. Mike holds M.Div. and ThM degrees from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served at Harvest since May 2009. Mike and Bethany have been married 12 years, and God has blessed them with three young boys: Leo, Ari, and Silas.

David has been married to his lovely wife, Lori, for 42 years. They have 7 children and 17 grandchildren. He enjoys riding his motorcycle and hiking. David is a bus driver for the University of Michigan. David served as lead usher at his previous church and has continued in this role at Harvest since he and Lori began attending in 2020. It is his desire to see that everyone feels welcomed as they walk in the doors of Harvest Bible Church.
Keith Campbell

Keith holds a B.S. & M.S in Mechanical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and is now retired from Ford Motor Co after 32+ years. Keith and his wife, Martha Joy, married in October 1980 and are blessed with 3 married daughters, Lara, Kristin, & Kaitlyn and five grandchildren. Keith has attended Harvest since 2012 and enjoys studying God’s Word and discussing it with others. He also enjoys traveling, being outdoors, gardening, camping, hiking and the beach.
Larry Edwards

Larry attended Detroit College of Business for Business Administration and is now retired after 3o years in Grocery Warehouse Management. He and his wife, Priscilla, have been married for 45 years and have 2 sons, 1 daughter, and 5 grandchildren. He enjoys working in his yard, riding his bike, and watching the grandkids play sports. Larry and Priscilla have been members of Harvest for 13 years and he is honored to serve as a deacon.
Timothy Egerdahl

Tim went to Bob Jones University, majoring in Studio Art. He was born & raised in North Carolina and has a passion for Carolina Hockey, woodworking, the arts, family, and cooking. He began attending Harvest in 2015 and has served here in various ministries. In 2020, he married the love of his life, Ashlea, and the Lord has blessed them with two handsome boys, Sebastian and Griffin. Tim formerly served in the US Navy and is now working for the FAA as an Air Traffic Controller.
Forrest Piehl

With his bachelor degree in Computer Science from Kalamazoo College and a MBA from University of Michigan-Dearborn, Forrest works for a local health system, managing a group of project managers in the Information Technology Department. He is married to Anne and they have five grown children. Forrest came to Harvest in 2017 serves on the Audio Visual Team. Forrest also enjoys exploring the wonders of God's creation by camping, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with family.
Jerry Simon

Jerry and his wife, Veronica, have attended Harvest for 9 years. They have 5 children, 24 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. As Treasurer, Jerry provides accountability to the church for the disbursement of all funds received and to ensure the safekeeping of church income. Since receiving Christ as his Savior at the age of 22, Jerry’s passion has been to share the gospel with others. He enjoys reading and is a lifelong learner. Jerry also serves as part-time accountant for Another Way Pregnancy Center.

Jon graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Urban and Regional Planning. Jon and his wife, Carmen, have been married since 2006 and attending Harvest since February 2009. Jon enjoys golf, travel and all things sports. Jon and Carmen have been blessed with 3 children: Aidan, Madison and Jackson.

Salvador enjoys being in the Word daily (both individually and with his family), spending time with his wife, Michelle, and 6 kids, teaching, counseling, studying & applying apologetics, and working on his car. He has known and served the Lord for over 35 years in different capacities, including evangelism, teaching and preaching from Puerto Rico to Mexico, Haiti to Honduras, Bangladesh, Utah and all over the Detroit metro area. The Lord has blessed him professionally with a Bachelors from the University of Puerto Rico and a Masters from the University of Michigan in Science of Mechanical Engineering, 7 patents and a Henry Ford Technology Award.
